One of my frnd is very lean n underweight.....He tried from gym to heavyeating but in vain...My other frnds r suggesting him to hav beer (he is non-drinker)...
Will it help?......

If he's tried many things, and still can't gain weight, have him go to a doctor. Especially if it's becomming a health risk.
Some people are naturally "underweight" because of genes, and metabolism.
However, if both of his parents are heathly weight, or over.. and he's not hyperactive, he may want to have his blood and thyroid checked for problems.

Beer isn't exactly the best answer. What's the point of gaining weight when your liver stops working because of the method?

Just tell him to slow down if your always working and less sleep his metabolism must be sky high burning more calories than he is taking in. Also lifting heavy weights helps and protien shakes also weight gainers but no beer thats just gonna put the weight in the gut.

Eat alot of food. The beer will do nothing for him but give him a beer belly and thats not cute. Keep up with the work out but he needs more food.

Tell your friend to eat alot of carbs and drink alot of milk or eat alot of dairy products like cheese. Usually when people go straight to bed after eating without sitting up and letting their food digest for a little while they gain weight. Tell him to try it.

Tell him to drink slimfast shakes with meals. It won't make him lose weight if he drinks it WITH a meal. He may also just have a naturally high metabolism that will straighten itself out as he gets older.

maybe this tips can help :
1. ask your friend to eat a late snack before he/she sleep
2. drink a body builder milk before he/she go to the gym
3. Eat more portion (especially eat) than before
4. Eat snack often than before
