Why all the concern about this? Christians do nothing but talk about heaven. Can't people live a good life for the sake of a good life, and let the rest take care of itself?

Are you to be cremated or buried in the ground, inside a coffin. I agree with Leo. Either way, you're basically going to end up decaying, and returned to Mother Nature. If you're talking about the afterlife, hey, that's where religion comes in. :)

As u r not this body but a spirit soul may reincarnate on this earth itself depending on your KARMAS . U may even go to hellish planets as said in Bhagvatam (6th canto last chapter) or more luckily receive kingdom of God .

The dead body goes either to ground for burial or to a pyre for burning.
The force or call it anything which makes our body to live goes where nobody knows.

god balances his goods & bads ....n all the bads he did in the life he lived he will suffer in the grave till the day of judgement arrives! so save urself 4m the wrath of the grave people!

Nowhere till judgement day. A persons body stays laying in the grave until the day of judgement when we are all resurrected to face our sins and deeds good or bad.
If you are good your grave ill be comfortable, if your a sinner you will have an uncomfortable wait, with lots of punishment in the grave.

first of all people do not go anywhere their body remains here their spirit goes , where it goes, it depends upon karmas. with the God or heaven or hell or it remains in the dark places(in case of bad karmas and sudden deaths combined)

But I do believe that there is many doors in the after life good and bad.And depending on how many goods you've done on earth will depend on how many doors you will be allowed to open.
For each different type of good will be a different type of gift of a dimensional life that you've never fathomed before.
