i met this scripper last night in the club i did'nt have money for rent i was by too get evicted by wendsday but the girl gave me 500 dollars to pay my rent i just met here new years eve i been with my ex girlfriend for 6yrs and she never gave me 600 dollars. but the girl i just met stay in atlanta i stay in new orleans but she down here making her money dancing

I don't usually go into questions that say "are conservatives this, or are liberals that"... but I thought I would dip into the mire...

but seriously... I've seen so many times where conservatives either don't believe something because it's not happening in their town or to someone they know...

the world is much larger than just you and your town... even larger than your state and country... and those things, if not dealt with, could one day affect YOU...

even when I ask a theoretical question, conservatives assume that the subject of the question is directly related to me... I ask a question about poverty, they tell me to get to work... when I have a job?

Sorry I see poor people from time to time and I stop and think about them? maybe even ask a question? but that's just one example that I've seen in many different questions...

but the true irony here is that many of them are religous and the golden rule basically directly speaks against this action?

First, choosing a religion out of fear it might be true and you might go to hell is not a healthy way of choosing a life path.

Second, it's not harmless to follow religion. It seperates you from other people (which limits your choices of friends, spouses, etc), it takes up tons of your life (church, prayer, study, etc) and it makes people blind to real ethical reasons for laws like gay marraige. Whether or not hell exists, I do not want to be responsible for limiting the way someone lives their life, like people do with gay marraige laws that are only in place because of religion.

Here's my Wager:
If God does not exist, an Atheist (I'm not by the way) will have lived a full life, free and without religious guilt.
If God does exist, the Atheist may or may not go to hell depending on which God ended up being true.

What do you guys think? I'm not trying to offend, I'm just trying to put things in perspective.

On 27 dec.06 at around 0930 approx - had asked the question in as to why was passing black stool and within a matter of minutes had some answers, then I knew it was a serious situation and did get serious because I started vomitting blood , was admitted in Hospital that same night and was diagonised as ULCER IN DUEDONYM in critical stage, had to have my stomach washed and was in ICU for three days. Have just got back home. Thank YOU ALL ONCE AGAIN. Thanks to Yahoo. I thought the black stool was just the dry fruits in the chistmas cake. ahahahh. Love to all.

Several months ago, I started thinking that Coca Cola tasted different. It is more of a bitter taste. When Coke Zero first came out I hated it because it was bitter, and this reminds me of it. But this is supposedly 'Coke Classic'.

In Victoria, Australia where I live we have water restrictions in place which means we can't water driveways, footpaths, etc (who would anyway? Use a broom, people!)... and they're getting stricter (no washing cars, no watering gardens outside of set times)...

All this is GOOD, I'm certainly not complaining! Just wondering what tips you guys have for everyone out there who would like to make a difference to our environment.

Here's my first tip: put a bucket under the kitchen tap and use that water to rinse dishes, wash vegies, etc.

He doesn't like anyone other than my parents, and I ....he's scared of everyone...and he's never liked any dogs. Now we have a baby doberman and the doberman is playful and wants to fight with my shih tzu but my shihtzu gets angry and bites him.....is there any solution???
