If you are sprayinmg flat black you dont want clear coat:it will make it shiney!

If all you are painting is plastic parts, most any "puff can" flat black will work OK.

since there is no gloss to the paint it hides defects and is easy to apply.

Take a unmarried aspect razor blade, carry it between your thumb and index finger with both fingers, and placed a mild bend contained in the suitable area opposite the blade. Then carry it a similar way and drag it throughout the fender to scrape the former paint off. (The bend enables keep it from digging in and gouging out the plastic) Use 2 hundred grit sandpaper to get off what the blade received't. lower than the paint must be the unique shade plastic. To make the plastic look like new lower back, gently sand it, Then propane torch and do what's termed "hearth polish it". once you've in no way performed this earlier, get an previous busted up fender and practice on it first. you may also use a electric powered warmth gun too.

I have used the Fusion Paint (above answer) too on dashboards and interior parts. Good adhesion and coverage, but it scratces off pretty easy.

Also the color choices are pretty limited....
