No. I go by how smart they sound and if they have somewhat the same opinion as me. And if I get an answer that's really sarcastic, but cute, I consider that one, too. I really don't even think about their points, it's not like anybody is getting a prize.

Sometimes, out of curiosity then I award the points to the best overall answer regardless of points accumulated

No, I only take into consideration how good the answer is depending on what the question asks for and if it helps me, or how accurate, thought-out and detailed it is.
