Are general elections held every two or four years, for example? Or are elections called whenever the government feels the need?

We dated for a little more than 2 years, then he broke up with me the day before Thanksgiving, saying he wanted to be "friends." For the first couple weeks we talked online and at school and stuff, but now, over Christmas break, he's completely avoiding me. He didn't wish me a merry christmas, and I felt that it'd be inappropiate to call him and tell him merry christmas since he was the one who broke up with me.

My question is, how is this us being "friends"? Friends say merry Christmas to eachother and don't completely avoid eachother for 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure I don't still like him, but I just feel torn because we dated for 2 years and he was my best friend.

Do you think I should say something to him? What do you think I should do?

i take clonazepm 0.5mg and i take it for panic attacks and i want to know if anybody would hire people that have disorders like this.?becasues if i miss a dose i have an attack and it is not pretty when it happen. and if they do not hire people with disorder can i can disability then?

What is this persons problem??
My best friend if I can still call him that of 13 years started acting strange about two or more years ago, he started not returning calls, make plans and not show up, drop of the face of the earth and then out of no where reappear like nothing happpened, Then he would turn around and say I am a bad friend.. cause somehow i not there for him..what..I always called him and made the effort..
I found out later he was very depressed so I accepted that and thought maybe we could be friends again.. so he called me recently and invited me out and then he said I will call you later with information about where we can meet and what time.. he never called, I as hurt so i called him a later in the week to see what happened, he was like why didn't you call me, I was floored, he made plans with me, didn't call me and now he was blaming me.. what..so i told him no you told me to wait and you were going to call me back.. then he was like oh your right.. what

There's a mission trip I'd like to go on with church, but can't afford to. My boyfriend told me today that he'd be willing to help me by paying for part of the trip. He said he has the money, but doesn't want to go, so thinks it would be better if I went since it's on my heart to go. Is this the Lord's way of providing for me or is this not a good idea?

Can sides A + B of a right triangle be found if side C is known and you know that the ratio of the other two sides is 16 : 9 ?

I know that A^2 + B^2 = C^2, and normally you'd need to either know 2 of the lengths of the sides and/or an angle other than the right angle.

This is the question I'm trying to answer:
If I know that a high-defininition (widescreen) television has a 61" (diagonal) screen, and I also know that the aspect ratio for this type of television is 16 (horizonal) : 9 (vertical), can I solve for the other sides? I've tried using the 3-4-5 model to solve this and it does not apply. Can the actual width of the television be calculated in inches given this information?

This would be a good problem for a math test - feel free to use it, teachers!

I really enjoy eating chiken and fish with rice daily for my dinner, after learning that white rice is really not all that healthy with the starch and sugars, I tried brown rice, but honestly do not care for it. Is there a rice that is tasty like white but not as unhealthy. (I am not into any sort of cooking extravaganza, or recipes i want to KEEP IT SIMPLE..I just bake the chicken or fish with some spice (NO SALT) and make the rice with the veggies in it and maybe some onion, garlic and spices, I am cooking this meal for one person only, me.

After 12 pints at my local i staggered into the Indian resturant with 6 friends as one of them insisted on buying us all a curry because he couldn't attend my party tonight.

Well I ordered a King Prawn Vindaloo.
It is now a good 15 hours later and i haven't needed to have a
