We dated for a little more than 2 years, then he broke up with me the day before Thanksgiving, saying he wanted to be "friends." For the first couple weeks we talked online and at school and stuff, but now, over Christmas break, he's completely avoiding me. He didn't wish me a merry christmas, and I felt that it'd be inappropiate to call him and tell him merry christmas since he was the one who broke up with me.

My question is, how is this us being "friends"? Friends say merry Christmas to eachother and don't completely avoid eachother for 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure I don't still like him, but I just feel torn because we dated for 2 years and he was my best friend.

Do you think I should say something to him? What do you think I should do?

two years is definitely a long time in terms of relationship. and this guy just broke it off without a reason? jeez...when guys say" jus be friends" it means "stay the hell away!" this guy wants to avoid you for a reason and it would foolish to talk to the guy. give him his space.
i know its tough to leave a relationship, but as always put the past behind u and move on.

he may have a gf and she's jealous of you, it could be the reason that he's not calling..... when he talks again to you you talk to him about this...but now get along your life, of course there are too many friends like you and want to wish you Merry Christmas, don't be upset...have a god time and nice holiday
Merry Christmas to you dear
