For any of you that have a kitten or cat, my little one keeps sneezing. I just noticed it a few days ago. His nose gets wet sometimes too. He is still eating like normal and playing like normal, he just keeps sneezing. When he does, he sprays me with his sneeze. I can't afford to bring him to the vet right now. What should I do? Is he sick or what?

My son is 19 months old. He's been at daycare for 4 months. Prior to that he was in private care 3 mos. (now closed) where he was sick one time. That was his only illness since birth.

The daycare was highly recommended by a co-worker who has her son there. However, my son's been sick atleast 2 times a month (ear infections, pink eye twice, bronchitis, stomach flus, etc).

I'm a single mom with no living family or assistance of any kind. I must work fulltime to provide for us, therefore, my childcare options are limited. If I could afford a live-in nanny, I'd get one-believe me!

Anyway, I am trying to figure out why my son is so sick there. The 1 thing that keeps coming to mind is they switch him from room to room daily. If his teacher leaves for the day, he goes into another room with other kids, also if his teacher is not there in the morning, they put him in a different room with even more kids.

Is this common or even allowed? He's exposed to way too many kids.

I suffer from this problem as well and I HATE IT!!! I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to prevent or lessen the diarrhea during that time of the month. Do you eat certain foods and avoid other foods? Medications? Herbs? I feel like I can't function for 3 or 4 days a month because of this problem. I appreciate any help that anyone can suggest. (I have an appt with my OB/GYN on January 11)

Has anybody done this? I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and have physically broken both sets of USB ports (was dumb enough to carry it around with things plugged in - no lectures please, I know, I know...it was stupid, but it's done now) There is (or was) a pair on the back and a pair on one side.

Has anyone replaced these? How hard is it? Or should I take it someplace to have done? I'm not against paying somebody to have it done if that's the wise way to go, but don't want to be without my laptop for very long.

I'm not the world's expert on computer hardware, but did successfully replace the keyboard on my previous (Dell) laptop.

Thanks for any advice.

My mini dachshund is in labor and i'm home alone. She's had one puppy so far that got stuck and had to be pulled out and helped along, but the baby girl is doing fine. If the puppy is born not breathing, how hard should I shake it? Meaning, when you wrap it up and shake it down to get the fluid out, how do I know if it's a lost cause?

My dog woke up this morning unable to walk or put any weight on his front left paw whatsoever. I took him for a walk yesterday and he came home fine, so I'm doubtful that it's fractured. However, he seems very much in pain and is currently resting. I gave him 2 bayer aspirin, but I don't know if that was too much, and if I should give him more and when. He is a yellow labrador, about 7 years old, and about 50 pounds.
