I've been living in a standalone house/terrace house most of my life apart from a couple of years when I lived with someone else in an apartment. From my experience, living in a standalone residence has a lot of disadvantages, especially mine being a terrace (me and my next-door neighbors sharing the same walls). In addition, neighbors know when you leave the house, come home, water the plants, clean the car, have your bath etc. cos there's hardly any privacy (unless one lives in a rich residential area, but most of us aren't that fortunate).

One of the disadvantages of living in an apartment-like home are that your neighbors are above and below you unless you're living on the very top floor. What are the other disadvantages of living in apartment buildings?

I'm asking because I really, really hate where I'm living now because there isn't any privacy whatsoever and the neighbors are from hell. Thanks in advance.

I'm 29 and I've always been a lonely person. I'm shy around people and I shun socially situations. I want to be normal but it's just so hard. I think about all the things I missed out on because of me being this way. It's depressing when I think about me not having had all the experiences people in their teens and 20s have. Like proms, girlfriends, parties, friends, playing sports...you know? all the experiences associated with youth and what's expected of the average American kid? I wonder if there's people out there that understand what I mean. :(

My husband is always sleeping!!

He stays awake all night playing 'Warcraft' online, gets to bed about 4am then sleeps all morning. I honestly wouldn't mind but the kids keep asking for him and every time I try to wake him up (after I make sure he's had his 8 hrs sleep) he refuses to get up.

When he does eventually get up he goes back onto Warcraft again (after playing with the kids for about 10 minutes).

I've tried talking to him (without nagging) about the neglection of the kids but it doesn't seem to do anything...

I have been divorced for a year and have been on quite a few dates since but haven't been able to find someone that I connect with on all levels. It's like all the good guys are taken, gay, or just all around jerks. I really have a problem with comparing all my dates to my ex-husband. I really need HELP!!!

Reach out and touch faith

Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Flesh and bone
By telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer
Take second best
Put me to the test
Things on your chest
that we need to confess
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver

Reach out and touch faith -(x2)-

Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there

-Reach out and touch faith-

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Flesh and bone
By telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver

Reach out and touch faith
Your own personal Jesus
Reach out and touch faith x5

Me and my girlfriend have decided on naming are child Jaden and his middle name Anthony. we are young, both in are early 20s and love this name but both are parents dont like the name, (mainly hers) they say it sounds to girlish and it also sounds more of an african american childs name (we are both white). Now we disagree on both those ideas and really like this name but we just want opinions on the matter from people outside of the family. We chose the name because it sounds pretty cool for a boy and isnt a common name like James, David,Matthew,Ryan,etc... and that is what we wanted, something not so common. We really think they dont like it because it isnt a common name and they are older (in there 60s) so there idea of a good name is something like James, or Ryan, a name that is more heard of. And i have done a little resarch on the name and Jaden is used way more as a boys name then a girls so i really dont know. so if you have an opinion on this please let me know.

My 14 month old has become a pickey eater.....all he will eat are crackers and juice. I have called his doctor and all he said was to get creative with meals and do 1 or 2 bites of several things till he grows out of it. Yeah...that didn't work...my child is smart enough to know when Mommy and Daddy are tricking him to eat. I have tried being entertaining, tried new flavors, tried bribing, etc....

Any suggestions on how I can get my son to eat more....He is low on the weight charts so I am concerned....

The guy I've been going out is a childhood friend, we went to the same school and stuff.

Friends say I shouldn't be with him because he's not very good looking and I'm too good looking for him and can find someone better.

What do I do?

And again I do feel like leaving him sometimes.

my grand-daughter has always had bullgard full security pack on her computer. About 6 weeks ago a box as a icon appeared on her desktop with the words xset up,exe. We did a full scan and 2 threats appeared on the scan which bullgard could not deal with so we sent a log to them to sort out. After many attempts later we were no better off as these threats kept showing up on the full scan. Last night I uninstalled bullgard and installed avg free antivirus and with her own windows firewall windows defender and norton spyware scan which comes free with btyahoo we did another scan with avg which picked up the above mentioned + a copy avg got rid of the first one and on a second scan we believe we got rid of the second one but the box is still on the desktop. How can we be sure we have got rid of all this. Hope all this makes sense.
