The guy I've been going out is a childhood friend, we went to the same school and stuff.
Friends say I shouldn't be with him because he's not very good looking and I'm too good looking for him and can find someone better.
What do I do?
And again I do feel like leaving him sometimes.

Believe me, beauty fades! Don't let your friends influence your decision if their only concern is his looks, follow your heart and give him a chance. First impressions are not everything. Have your ever met someone and thought; that person is ugly, but as you got to know them you see beyond their looks and they become beautiful? Well, maybe he will grow on your friend as well and if not then they are as shallow as beauty itself. You might find a better looking lad, but then again he might leave you for someone better looking? Just a thought.

I am a lot older then you so all I have to say is, if looks mean that much to you then say goodbye,but you may end up with a handsome bloke who makes your life a misery.When I was young I had a real ugly fella I was embarrassed to be seen with him but he was so lovely in hes ways made me feel special but I listened to friends, yet to this day I remember him,life is strange.By the way what are your friends fellas like,I suggest you take a good look before deciding,that's if they have a fella.

**** your friends as they know nothing about peronsality in my eyes personality is always first looks are a bonus but sometimes the personality has a habit leaking onto the looks look at your friends if you can see any of that then any guy with would not take your friends out on a first date anyway what im saying is if you love enough then go for it

Well, why don't you just listen to your heart. Do you like/love him?? Looks don't matter when it comes to love. And if you're planning to leave him because of his looks, then i'm sorry to say that you're a shalow person. But, honestly, if that is how you feel, you shouldn't waste his time or your time and just break up.

If you feel like leaving him for reasons other than pressure from your friends then he's not the one for you.
If it's simply because of what your friends say about him then you need to ditch the "friends".
Listen to your heart! If you split then try to be gentle with him.

since thes guys are just after you and not actually helping you i wud say stay away from them coz the only want someone to play with(if you know wot i mean).
now about your question, if you love this guy it shouldnt matter wot other people think about him, and it is normal to feel like you really hate him sometimes! thats just the joys of love,lol. if you like him, stay with him and tell your freinds that you really like him and it is hurting your feelings wen they say this stuff about him. they will stop, if you let them know how much he really means to you.
