We decided to have our satelite turned off to help encourage our son's imagination. So now after almost three years of no TV at all we are finally getting it hooked back up. My mother-in-law convinced us that with parental controls and rules about how long he can watch each day that he will still be creative. I always liked CSI and Law & Order. My son is 6 and we now have a 2 year old daugthter as well, my husband is a history buff, so what shows will each of us enjoy? Are their any good family series out there anymore? Please list stations that they come on so I can look them up. Thanks.

Why do many Christians think Harry Potter is bad for Children?
I read a story about a young wiccan girl that was tormented by her classmates who trapped her in a corner chanting "Jesus loves you," and sang hyms to her in the hall between classes. The torment and loss of friends was enough to cause her to hang herself. But of course lets not forget the typical harassment from other Christians to non believers. Oh, and that little thing called the Inquisition? Yeah, that was a movement by the church, and alot of people died. Plus of course the witch trials in europe.
I'm not saying the Bible or all Christians are bad, but why is it if a kid reads Harry Potter or plays Dungeons and Dragons or Magic the Gathering, then becomes involved in the occult, it's because those are the tools of Satan, but when people DIE because of Christianity or the Bible, that's just human error? Can't Satan use the Bible for his purposes as well?

I have been dating this girl for about a month and recently i have been feeling depressed and having a low self esteem. I've always had a low self esteem but its the worst its ever been. My problem is I feel my girlfriend can do better than me and that im holding her back or...ripping her off in a way. I think my main concern is my body size. She deserves to be with a guy who could protect her and fight for her if needed. I cant even defend my self. im verryyy skinny, she is bigger than me. The only reason i way more than her is because of my height. i weigh 117 and she weighs 110. thats horrible. And with that...i know that relationships dont last forever and she is gonna break up with me sooner or later even though she claims she loves me soooooo much. When she breaks up with me im gonna be crushed and never date a girl again. not have doubts but it is sad when there is so much violence and horror in the world. I just recently heard of Fish Odor Syndrome where people smell like rotting fish these people are often humiliated and shunned by society because people don't understand their disease and many people are recluses and even commit suicide. I am just sad why innocent people have to suffer with something this bad. I want only Christains to answer this question because I am often confused.
