They sell out pretty consistently everywhere. My order from CDnow has been on backorder since 11/18. I've only seen them in abundance twice--once during the Toys R Us midnight launch, and the Nintendo World Store in NYC gets them pretty regularly. I think you may have a lot of backorders being filled on all the reliable internet retailers for a few weeks. Your best bet in my opinion is to check your local retailers often.

In regards to checking your local retailers frequently to see if they have them in stock.. Game Crazy actually has a wishlist they can put you on so you will get a call when your item is in stock! Keep in mind that how many people are on the list can vary from store to store, but I work at a game store and we're getting them in more frequently now.
