Really need more information. Is the wedding during the day or evening? Inside or out? Formal or casual? Not knowing any of the answers and guessing you are female, I would say a simple black dress is always appropriate.
If you have friends attending you may ask them what they are wearing. I also would recommend if you have a date/husband also attending, a suit or sport coat with a tie is the correct attire.

Depends on the type of wedding it is. If it is more formal then you should wear a more classy dress. If it is not too formal a simple dress will do. Just remember do your best not to out dress the bride. Some brides wear a fancy traditional wedding dress some wear just a traditional wedding dress and some do not wear a traditional wedding dress at all. You should know about what type dress the bride will wear if you know anything about her. If you know more about the groom then ask him about what kind of person she is. If he doesn't know then some of her family members will know. Just remember it is her day more so than the man. So as long as you don't out dress the bride then you will be fine.

Just dress up in a nice dress that makes you look pretty & have some nice heels on your shoes & a matching purse
don't wear white because thats the brides colour
Make sure you pick a dress you can easily wear again
I wouldn't get anything to posh
have a good time at the wedding

What time is the wedding? That will help you decide. Morning weddings and early afternoon weddings--church gear should be fine. Evening (after 6pm) weddings usually require cocktail dresses or more formal.
I got married at 4pm this past October and there was every kind of dress imaginable there. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Go to have a good time!

Etiquette states that a bride may be the only guy or woman wearing a white dress on her wedding ceremony day. Now, a skirt isn't a dress, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is greater formal than a pair of pants, and a few human beings might think of that it nevertheless qualifies simply by fact the rule. i think of in case you are able to substitute the skirt to a cream colour, as against marvelous white, that could desire to seem very elegant and chic.

Daytime wedding wear a skirt or pantsuit, dressy casual. Nighttime weddings are a little more formal, cocktail dress. Don't wear white, that's for the bride - and don't wear black, that's traditionally for funerals. Any other color is fine. This is winter so you'll want to have a jacket or wrap to be warm. Tasteful jewelry, don't overdo it.

Black tie only: A formal dress (think prom). Be sure to not wear something so spectacular or poofy that you will upstage the bride, though.

Black tie optional: You can do the above or something slightly less dressy

No description: Wear something classy, like a cocktail dress or your little black dress (or equivalent). Slacks and a blouse are good too!

Casual: Think business casual.

Good luck!

well it depends on what type of wedding it is. if its mostly casual. u can get away with black pants and a nice top. if it is more in the middle...maybe try a knee length or floor length skirt with a nice top. and if its formal, try a dress that goes down to mid-calf or the floor. go mostly with the colors of the wedding...hope that helps!
