i have a 256 internet connetion but all i got is a 56 mbps connection... is it my modem or do i need a network adapter/ boosster to boost my connection even up to 100 mbps???

I had miscarriage 3 months ago and it was my first pregnancy. I haven't had a cycle since then. So is it possible for me to get pregnate again? Just asking since I am having some of the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant.

My cat has been doing what I would call dry heaving. (At first I thought he just had a hairball, but the problem is persisting.) My room-mate says to just give him a Pepcid AC to coat his stomach-but I feel this is dangerous. If he doesn't get better by Monday, I'm going to take him to the vet. In the meantime, I'd like to know if there's anything that would help.

I am 14 and I have angled shoulder length hair. I wanted to get some type of bangs, either side, or full. I kind of like full bangs, but I don't know if they will make me look younger or not. The car is November 2002, just bought, and everything else seems perfect, including acceleration. It's my first diesel and I expected more noise and fuss when cold, but this continues at tickover even when warm. Help much appreciated.

my question is a very hard one. my mom just had a stroke and out of all 5 of my siblings i'm the only one who can devote more time to caring for her. well my main problem is that it's christmas eve tomorrow and i have to bake, shovel, clean house, chase a 4 year old around, plus watch my sister's 8 year old, laundry, take the garbage to the city dump and the list is longer. i have a step dad he just doesn't care to help out. he has 3 children of his own-18,16,15. it's his weekend with them plus he figures that he don't need to help out around here, well i'm running around doing all the work. then this morning i get a phone call telling me that my real dad will be spending the night here tonight. so now i must clean me and my daughters room so he can sleep in there. how can i get help. i'm at the very end. i'm actually feeling like i'm ready to breakdown. i'm 5 months pregnant. how do i get my step dad to see that i need help around here.

I was at a store doing some last minute shopping. I was waiting in line to checkout and this lady was in front of me with a little girl who was about 4 years old. The little girl ask the woman if she could have some candy and the woman's response to the little girl was to grab her by her hair and yank all the way to the door, the whole time she had the little girl's hair in her grip. The little girl was crying and telling the woman she was sorry. I felt so bad, I wanted to say something so bad, but fearing it would make things worse, I kept quiet. I am all for discipling your children, but this seemed to be to be a bit extreme. I just wanted to get your views on this because I was upset by witnessing this and wondered if I was over-reacting.

We have hot water but no heating. The lights on the control indicate that both should be on. The same happened last Saturday. On Sunday evening we have heat but no hot water the rest of the week is fine. I have contacted the Central heating engineers but they say that there is no point coming out when the system is working and to wait until it conks altogether!! Meanwhile we are freezing and IT'S CHRISTMAS...HELP!!!
