im 19 and I have been dating my boyfriend for 3 years, and I'm madly in love with him. I can picture myself with him when I'm older and could never imagine being apart. He goes away for college( an hour away) and i stay home for school. I don't get to see him much so it gets really hard. Its almost like being single but being tied down at the same time. Anyways, last night my bestfriend had some people over to play wine pong. I usually never drink so i got pretty tanked fast. So as the night went on i kept flirting with this guy( I've known him for about a month). I was so drunk, i didn't even realize what i was doing. The next thing i know were making out and fooling around. Eventually our clothes were off. He slde inside of me for like 5 seconds and then i said that i couldn't cuz i have a bf. He said ok and we stopped right then. Now i feel guilty and feel like i should tell my boyfrined. I love him though and dont want to ruin what we have. what should i do?

Banning smoking, banning saturated fats, etc. Its all optional. If people want to have a burger and xlarge fries then give it to them they are just hurting themselves. What do you think?

I never knew how much racism hurt until it happened to me! Anyway, I was playing a game on Yahoo ( yahoo graffiti) and one of my team mates just got mad because we were losing.....and just joined a few minutes before. So he is talking alot of foolishness about how horrible I was doing.....and I didn't appreciate it! And so we were constantly going back and forth, but I never disrespected him.....not even once even though I wanted to. (I was always taught never to disrespect someone even if they disrespect you) Then all of a sudden he says "Just because you are black doesn't mean you have a right poppin a cap everytime!!!" And after that I didn't say not one word. Everyone else said that he was rude, ignorant, and a racist!! And I couldn't have agreed more.



But the question is how would you have handled this situationn? Did I do the right thing by not saying anything?

Im usually 100% behind the government, and Bush is a pretty good president, not the best, but good (A hell of alot better than Kerry would have been) I supported CONGRESS voting to go into Iraq (Thats right, the President cant declare war, only Congress can).

So another question; why is Bush the one being blamed when it was mostly Congress and the UN that pushed for the war? The UN; which means alot of countries supported the war, along w/ alot of the American Public, remember in 2003?

But after we took out there 86,000 man Army, started a new government, captured there leader, and have killed 28,000-36,000 Iraqi Insurgents; AMERICAS JOB IS DONE. America fought for its own freedom against a world superpower w/ untrained farmers; Im assuming we can let Iraq fight against a few rebels w/ little military training, w/ their new Army we trained for them.

We went in; we kicked @ss, our job is done. Now its time for us to withdrawl.

This seems to happen on more than one front from movies such as Passion of the Christ to Fahrenheit 9/11 to Loose change to 9/11 being an inside job to Iraq to high ranking government whistleblowers written off as quack jobs. The funniest part is that these very people who have not even taken the time to watch or read about the very things they are disputing have the gumption and balls to call you vicious names like idiot, fool a terrorist among others I will refrain from mentioning. These very people who simply accept the first neo-con explanation of events thrown their way are the same people that think the patriot act doesn't apply to them and the same people that will be wondering how they ended up in this fascist state once everything is said and done. Why are they so quick to give up their freedoms and not question the very activities our fore fathers warned us to do to protect our freedoms? I am kind of rambling does this make sense to anyone?

I was just dumped today, 4 days before Xmas. My boyfriend is 20 years older than I am and we live together. We had our share of problems but this is a pretty low blow. I have no one here during Xmas so I will be spending it solo. My mother is going back home to California where we are originally from. We have only been in Texas for a year and my boyfriend has lived here for over 25 years now. We work at the same place but not in the same department. Not working in the same department does lesson the effect a bit.

I know in the past we have had our share of issues. It all came to a head during my mother’s Bday party last night. My boyfriend has been getting pretty emotionally abusive lately since I got sick a few months ago with an ovarian cyst. My sex drive had been through the roof in the past but lately (I’m in my mid thirties) things have been off kilter since my cyst. Well my boyfriend has a wondering eye at times and was eyeing my mother’s best friend and my best friend during the party, and I called him on it. He instantly got emotionally abusive, cussing and ranting about how F**!* up I was for saying that. Well we discussed it a short while when we left the party and I apologized and he said we could put it past us.

Well to make a long story short this morning I called to check up on my man and he never said I love you and we always say that. He also stated that he didn’t’ want me coming back. I told him “But I’ll be alone for Xmas”. He said, “I’m sorry but….”.

I have a butt load of things to pick up from his place. He never even asked where I would go. It’s 4 days before Xmas too. His friends tell me that he’s too set in his ways and I deserve better. They also said he hasn’t totally gotten over his previous relationships.

We were supposed to exchange gifts this Sunday but my friends and family say to not give it to him and to get my money back for the presents.

I have to go over there after work and he told me after I called back that he will have my things ready to go when I get over there after work. I told him that this was really low but he kept saying, “I’m sorry but I like being alone right now”

I feel since I’ve been with him I’ve had to make up for past relationships, trying to make this one go smooth. He’s selfish. He can’t deal with anything like “disagreements, change, etc.”

Here’s my question, should I give him his gift and how should I act when I go over there. I’ve cried a river since I’ve been at work and he dumped me at 8:30 a.m, this morning.?

There is a mother who has a baby around the same age as mine and we have been communicating with one another via email because our significant others are friends. Let me give you some examples of some of our correspondence and you can tell me if she sounds like she's being competitive or if I'm just reading into things because I'm having feelings of inferiority and jealousy or something...

I emailed that we've been pretty lucky in the diaper rash department... she emails back "My baby has not gotten a diaper rash at all. So happy!"

I email that we're switching to cloth diapers and she emails me back "Cloth diapers are a little messier and much more work for the parents, but a whole lot better for our environment. That is the main reason why I wanted to try them."

I email that I bought a book on how to make baby food at home and she emails back "I am definitley going to make my baby's food at home. It's soooo much cheaper and healthier."

What do you honestly think?

I am EU citizen, now living and working in the US on H1 visa.
I am planning to buy a condo apartment in the US taking a mortgage.
If in a couple of years I might move back to Europe and I might decide to rent the apartment.
This can be the scenario in two years:
My revenues in the US will be only the rent ($20,000 per year) and financial revenues from CD and savings accounts ($5,000 per year). Total $25,000
My property taxes will be $3600 per year, my mortgage interests will be $12,000 per year and I will have additional $3,300 manteinance costs per year.
I am EU citizen and I will live and work and in Europe at that time.
How much taxes will I have to pay per year in the US?

I have recentally been gaining self confidence, but I have a hard time publically appearing "charming". Not in the way you would expect- I'm perfectly fine with my girlfriends in terms of comming out of my shell- but when im around guys I suddenly switch to the "oh no what are they going to think about me" mode- and I would most always flub up. Most of the time this ruins my potential with a person I have a very strong attraction to. Ive worked on the visualization techniques, the "not caring" nonchalance and the funny/recreational-oreinted personality, but for some reason, the emotions get the best of me and I become prey. I am a great person and have tons of self respect, but for some reason, in particular cases I feel that my footing has fallen out underneath me, and I almost alllllwayyyss appear needy and desperate and it just sucks any confidence I have out of me when the guy sees it and runs, and then it becomes a situation where I want to try again etc.HELP!

I need to copy some of my children's VHS movies onto DVD so that they can watch them in the car. I understand that the picture and sound would be better if I just bought DVDs, but my kids have a WHOLE BUNCH of movies on VHS and it is just not feasible to buy them all on DVD at this time. How can I get around the copyright thing and record them onto DVDs using my DVD-R?

We are in the process of building a new house and just have had the plumbing done (water is not on yet). Our 3 year old son went up to the newly installed piping and turned on the valve and a blast of air went right into his face.
