If your home, and using it, then its ok to leave it on. Turn off your wireless network when you know you won't use it. Hackers cannot access a wireless router when it is shut down. If you turn the router off when you're not using it, you limit the amount of time that it is susceptible to a hack. As long as your home, its ok to leave it on. Leaving it on for long periods of time is perfectly fine for it. If you go out of town, turn it off.

It is best to leave it on, as someone already said, the settings may get mixed up turning it on and off. As long as you have the security set appropriately there should be no worries. :)
