I had a good experience through most of the time I was there, then the new manager became an ***, so I left.

I did for almost 5 years and the stress actually almost killed me. They don't treat their employee's right at all. Whenever the minimum wage goes up, any raises you got are lost and you start over just like the new crew people coming in. Some managers would go into the computer and delete employee's hours so they wouldn't get overtime. One female manager in her 20's was having sex with a high school boy in the freezer, and got pregnant. Another married older woman was having an affair with a young 20 year old, he got promoted to manager in a month. Then they moved him to another store, and he was canned for not knowing anything. I could go on and on. I also know of some kids getting hurt there and they wouldn't pay their medical bills. They passed the buck on writing up accident reports. Why did they do this? They claimed their insurance rates went up everytime they had to turn one in.

well, i worked there and wouldn't go back for anything. i worked there a total of 3 times. (just wrong) and a total of 6 odd years or something. i was a manager for a while. wouldn't do that again. i wouldn't say it was terrible but it wasn't what i would call a "good" experience. my store manager was a little psycho. she had anger management issues. um, i worked for an owner/operator and that probably makes a difference. not sure what mcopco is like.

When my teenage daughter worked at McDs, she quit the very next day. Her face broke up bad from the greasy fumes, and oil from handling all kinds of stuff.
