I never knew how much racism hurt until it happened to me! Anyway, I was playing a game on Yahoo ( yahoo graffiti) and one of my team mates just got mad because we were losing.....and just joined a few minutes before. So he is talking alot of foolishness about how horrible I was doing.....and I didn't appreciate it! And so we were constantly going back and forth, but I never disrespected him.....not even once even though I wanted to. (I was always taught never to disrespect someone even if they disrespect you) Then all of a sudden he says "Just because you are black doesn't mean you have a right poppin a cap everytime!!!" And after that I didn't say not one word. Everyone else said that he was rude, ignorant, and a racist!! And I couldn't have agreed more.
But the question is how would you have handled this situationn? Did I do the right thing by not saying anything?

You were right in what you did.. I am very sorry this happened to you. What a jerk he is. You were the better person in all this for not attacking him back. Some day he will answer for all his sins.
Good Luck to you and Merry Christmas.

Yes you did do the right thing some people are just so rude and they don't know how much racism can hurt even if they are playing around with you its no joke racism it wrong. I would of done the same thing that you did. You handled this situation very well most people would result it by fighting. But I would have done the same thing even if you would have to loose one friend.

I know it was hard on you not getting mad and reacting to him but you did the right thing and for that I say good job. I've never been accused of being racist and I don't want to. I know it hurt having someone say it but remeber that that person is just mean and they were mad. When people get mad they say things they don't mean. Maybe he's a sore loser and can't stand losing? Just remeber that if you had reacted and gotten mad and possible cuzzed it won't of helped any. So my answer to your question is you did handle it good and mature and that's good. That person needs to grow up. Just because you and them were losing and he was mad didn't mean he had the right to accuse you of that. Sounds like you aren't racist and that's good you were taught that and you didn't react. You were the real mature one not him. Good job!

sure you probably did do the right problem. What they opt for is a belligerent reaction from you, which will call you the n note or something. in case you react with call calling etc, then you truly've basically confirmed him what he needs to work out - that you're the stereotype he's searching to verify. as a change you basically enable something else of the individuals fireplace decrease back at him. that's exceptionally a lot the perfect conceivable concern.

You did the right thing. One can not argue with ingnorance, simply because they will never get it. They don't have enough brain cells to understand simple logic. And racism is ignorance. Don't allow it to get you down. Imagine this, must really suck to be him, to live his life such a hateful and nasty human being. Have a blessed Christmas and a joyous New Year! God bless****

I think you did the right thing. Yes, I am sure it hurt. If someone said "you don't play well because your old!" I would be hurt, but if I came back with "well, you are this or that because you are" whatever you are, well I would be worse.
Always remember - take the high road. Always take the high road.

He just put his ignorance in front of the whole world, How do you top that? You did the right thing by not giving him more publicity.
