There is a collection agencie that has posted two times in october,once in november and two time in december on my credit report, can they do this? I thought there was a law for this. And they are all for the same debt. What should I do, its killing my credit the debt is from 2004 and I plan paying in one lump sum but I am still saving. Will have money in two months.

So, What about Kwanzaa?

I believe to find out what something is one must go to the source or roots of its beginnings. I see that a professor in college created a holiday in the early to mid sixties as a "seperate" holiday as an alternative for blacks to celebrate instead of Christmas
now I see the evolving of the holiday has some very beneficial and helpful principles it adheres to. But just wondering a honest question if we want to indeed end segragation why then create a seperate holiday from everyone else? lets practice unity not seperation

I bought a new computer recently. Everytime i log on an annoying AOL demo starts. Even though i click ........

Even though i click in the box which says 'don't show this demo again' (every time), it still starts every time i log on. does anyone know how i can get rid of this annoying demo once and for all?

How should I react when I see my ex? He "ended" it by severing all contact!!?

Hope you can help with this!!

I saw this guy for a couple of months. We texted each other all the time and got on really well but it was only fairly casual because we were both newly single. However we were only seeing and sleeping with one another.

He confided in me about things in his past and we could talk about anything. However I think he may have regretted being so open as he was a little distant after that. He has a lot of baggage but nothing phases me and he knew that. We didn't meet as regularly but then he suddenly severed all contact two weeks ago.

I know he hasn't lost his phone and nothing has happened to him, so he obviously just didn't want to see me any more. I feel a bit used but am more offended as we had a good friendship if nothing else. Anyway, I know I'll see him out over Christmas & I'll be dressed to kill!

Should I just ignore him or should I give him the time of day if he approaches me? I WON'T be sleeping with him again by the way!

How come the US constitution contradicts itself?

It says that everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

But then, when illegal immigrants try to pursue happiness by coming to the US, you try to stop them.

That doesn't make any sense.

If we are better off without Saddam, why was he left in power by Bush One ?

Weren't the national security interests of the US best served by a stable Iraq?
We have supported many dictators, and we armed Saddam in the first place.
Now Iraq is in chaos.
Are we (the US) better off?
