I used to, when I was like twelve years old. I didn't even want people to see me in a bra. What made me change, was realizing most every woman not only buy pads and tampons, but they use them. I have to admit the only reason I may pass judgement on a women who is buying feminine products is when they buy in bulk. It's so tacky! I also don't believe women should not use douches and FDS as they are linked to many female health problems. But pads and tampons, no body cares. When your in your twenties, and in college, you will bond with your roommates, because usually women's periods align themselves with each other. Yes, you will have your periods at the same time!!! I lived on an all women's floor--EVERYBODY on the floor had their period at the same time, sooo, you'll get over that weirdness soon enough.

I did a little when I was younger. Then I got a job in a drugstore and after seeing the kinds of stuff other people buy, I no longer felt awkward about it.

When I was younger I wouldnt even go down the aisle with tampons or pads on it! That was an adventure for my mother and my mother alone. Now I dont care that much b/c some people have it way worse. At least your not having to buy a pregnancy test or vaginal itch medicine. lol

Every freaking time that my girlfriend sends me out to buy them it is so freaking awkward. But I have kinda gotten used to it and know that the cashier doesn't really care what you buy they just want you to buy it and leave so they can go home.

Not at all, all girls need them and most shop assistants are too busy to care what we're buying.
