I made my mom a plaque..I glued cinnamon sticks together and glued little fake flowers on it and on a small piece of paper I wrote "A mother hears what a child does not say" --Chinese Proverb. I glued that to the middle of it and put a fake bird on the corner. She still has it and it's really pretty!

Go to the craft store, get a glass vase, some of your mom's favorite colors. . . then go to the website for Michael's crafts. . .they actually have instructions on how to make a nice vase, and it shows you how to do different patterns. It shouldn't cost you more than $20 and if you take your time while doing it, it will be nice enough for her to display in the kitchen or living room!
If you aren't crafty, I would suggest putting together a small basket of goodies - make some cookies, put some of her favorite ssnacks in there - maybe throw in a gift card to starbucks!
Good luck and PS - Moms will like anything their kids put thought into. happy holidays!

Why not bash out a Gift certificate on Your Computer-Promising to either:
- Clean,wash-up for a week.
- Take her out for lunch one day!
-Or something you know she would love!(In the HELP Department)
The simplest ideas are always the best, especially when it comes to parents!
I'm quite sure this will not fail!!
Happy Holidays!!

I say make her a special Christmas ornament. She will take it out every year and think of you.... Moms have been receiving and putting up ornaments that their small children make them for years - so as an older child, I'm sure you can make something that will be beautiful and a keepsake for her.

Make those "love yah "gift cheques
Simple as "rub on the back, clean up the mess or anything you know you can do....put the stuff on the stub and give it to your mom...when she needs something...she'll give it to you and make sure you do it....
Happy Holidays

Well you can make a scrap-book, but with time ending you should get to it quickly.
