I write them all the time to my sweetie. It's something I plan on doing forever. I don't do them too much because I don't want it to become something he gets used to. But, when he least expects it, I leave a little something where he can find it. He loves it!

I write at least two a week most of the time.

I even sent my husband a Christmas card with a love message written in it.

Lots of times I won't use paper, but instead I'll use eyeliner and write those messages on the bathroom morror or the windows of the truck.

Don't think of me as weird, but I'm 50 and have never written a love letter in my life. I tried a love poem once, to no one in particular. I kept it as a reminder to never do it again. I CAN'T STAND LOVE LETTERS or love poetry especially. Having love poetry crammed down me my sophmore year in college as a study requirement didn't help my already strong disdain. One more thing and off my "rant" about the topic: God, deliver me from "Sonnets From The Portuguese"-- "gag me with a spoon!

When my husband had to travel for work. He was gone Monday through Friday, and only home for one weekend day. We were broke, because we had a newborn baby. I had no car either...So, I would write him a letter every night, and when he would get home, I would give them to him to read the following week. Those hard times made us very strong.

23 years ago for a letter. I write little love notes all the time. Whenever my husband travels for work, I put little notes or special items in his luggage.

Funny you should ask...just this morning. Sometimes, when I get up way too early, I write a love note and slip it in my husband's briefcase. We're newlyweds, but its something that I plan on doing forever!
