so there's this guy i like, and i've been saying hey to him a few times at school and we always smile at each other and occassionally ask each other how he/she is. i was at a play and he was at it too, and when i was staring at him during the play he was staring back at me, it was like the gaze was held. then one day when i said hey to him as i walked past him and i turned around, i caught him staring at me and when he saw me he turned around. he used my name in one of his greetings as well. on the last day of school i ran up to him and just told him that i wanted to wish him a merry xmas and to have a good break, and he was like 'yea you too'. then he asked me whether i was going anywhere i said no and then he asked when and where. then i asked him back whether he was going anywhere and he said no. when i said that i was going somewhere i thot he looked a bit disappointed, and then he said,'talk on msn' and held out his hand for me to shake it.so i shook it.we said cya and left. help?

I have a concrete step on the front of my house. Paint has been spilt on it and nitromoors used to try to clean it up with the result it is blotchy and untidy looking. It is just plain grey concrete and the only thing I can find is concrete stain for brown concrete. Any fairly easy methods to bring it back to colour?

Im a carer who looks after an eldery old women.
She is increasingly starting to show the symptoms of demetia, like forgetting present events but remebering past events, great changes in her personality and terrible mood swings, being unable to recognise the feelings of others, and often getting agressive.
Im faced with the moral dilemma, should I mention this to her children who will arrange for her to see a specialist, but if the diagnosis is wrong, I face upsetting her terribly and causing unecesarry stress.
On the other hand I feel bad avoiding this issue, as a carer what should I do?

My friend asked me for advice the other day and I wasn't sure what to tell him. His 21 yr old son bought a new car 6 months ago. His father had to co-sign the loan. The son agreed to make weekly payments to the father for the loan, insurance and taxes and the father took care of making sure they got paid on time. The son hasn't made any payments in 3 months and refuses do anything about it. He has a job but would rather spend his money partying. The title and registration for the car are in the son's name (with the bank listed as leinholder). The father would like to just stop paying the loan and let the bank repossess the car but he doesn't want his own credit ruined. Can he take possession of the car until the son pays his debt or sell it to pay off the loan? The son will not give up the car readily. The father wants to just take it and hide it then tell his son he can have it back when it's paid for. Can the son report the car as stolen?

Went to the panto yesterday, oh yes I did, and I've fallen for the panotmime cat. Is this normal. She's slightly ginger all over with the cutest black button nose. Never thought I could fancy a woman with facial whiskers. Is this normal and is there a cure?

He contacted me out of the blue, and I assumed it was for a booty cal so I became defensive. Of course he did to and wondered why I was thinking like that. I apologized, but made him understand that when you are broken up with someone and months pass and they contact you out of the blue it's generally because they want to go back to something that is familiar. He got it, and said it was cool. The next day he sent me a massage during my lunch brake to ask me how my day was going which was kinda wired, he even threw in there that he was off that day to, but I did not ask him why was he telling me that. My gf said he probably wanted me to say come over, but I am still not over him so of course I am not going to do that because I am not sure if I could handle those emotions yet. I sent him a text and asked him to call me when he was free and he did. We talked for about an hour about nothing. We laughed, joked, and avoided anything about "us" that was 2 days ago. So what happens next.

houses gossiping away.. I'm from the South East and moved there about 8 years ago, but then moved back down South, but I always noticed this phenomenon...

I used to find it really uncomfortable walking past groups of neighbours gathered outside each others homes.. why does this tend to happen more so in the North of England than the South... and it isn't because people are more neighbourly in the North...

Where I live about 35 miles from London my neighbours all know each other but we just don't do this... I'm not saying this makes us better ... I just find it interesting the way different communities work..
