so there's this guy i like, and i've been saying hey to him a few times at school and we always smile at each other and occassionally ask each other how he/she is. i was at a play and he was at it too, and when i was staring at him during the play he was staring back at me, it was like the gaze was held. then one day when i said hey to him as i walked past him and i turned around, i caught him staring at me and when he saw me he turned around. he used my name in one of his greetings as well. on the last day of school i ran up to him and just told him that i wanted to wish him a merry xmas and to have a good break, and he was like 'yea you too'. then he asked me whether i was going anywhere i said no and then he asked when and where. then i asked him back whether he was going anywhere and he said no. when i said that i was going somewhere i thot he looked a bit disappointed, and then he said,'talk on msn' and held out his hand for me to shake it.so i shook it.we said cya and left. help?

It is so obvious that he loves you and wants to go steady, in fact, I think he wants to marry you. Yes, yes he does.
You should probably go ahead and buy the dress because as soon as you log onto MSN today he's going to propose and all of your dreams will come true and it'll be the fairy princess wedding you've imagined since you were six years old.

I will tell you what I think, based on myself. There are 2 reasons of me, not releasing my numbers for someone and offering my messenger id for us to chat. One, I don't want to be rude with the person by turning him down right away, second, I am not sure if I like him or not, so I give him my messenger id and see how the conversation develops. If we click, I go out with him for a date if not, I hide myself from his messenger.
I observed, that people seems to be more real when they are using these Internet messenger. Some guys I thought I would never went out in a date, ended up becoming my dates, or even boyfriends after we had socialized over the messengers first.
On your case, I think he wants to know you better before ask you out.

it might mean something as in i think this guy was hpoing you would be around so that you could talk face to face and by the way he'reacting, he might actually like u, u know what i mean right anyway try chatting with him more on the msn and dnt jump to coclusions let him sill out whatever he wants to say aight but how do u feel about him and the things he's doin urself hmmmmmmmmmmmm

shy, afraid to get hurt...all wrapped up...
you seem sure already, help him out by asking yourself, its the new era where girls have to give a hand to boys to start a relationship...but after you ask him out once, let him take over and bring you around next becuz (unluckily) guys like to think their the ones bringing girls around...its something with their pride, so just laugh to yourself and follow it...
its time for the next step where, you cant keep saying hi and shaking hands everyday anymore...if you want something to work, make it work...

He probably wanted to ask you out! It's obvious to me that this guy likes you, and the fact that he's asking you if you're going anywhere just SCREAMS "Will you go out with me?" Next time you see him, return the favor and ask him.
