The more you stress, the more you are going to feel like it is extreme stress, and you will find that you get sick easier. You need to really quit stressing over every little thing. If you can not do that yourself , then go and get help by a professional that can help you learn copping skills, to deal with the stress. You need to find out what is stressing you so much, and learn to deal with it, or talk about it with a professional , so you can get back to your normal self. So go and seek some outside help with this problem, and you may find in no time that you are not feel extremely stressed all of the time, and you can feel better, and enjoy your life to the fulest.

I listen to music, at this point in life, I can't live without music (not literally) but it really helps. I try to forget all that happened and concentrate on the songs. When I'm done, I have forgotten about the stress.

Eliminate the stress. If you can't do that as in the death of a parent, use meditation and exercise. Also use a drug like Xanax. That's what it's for.

these are some of the strategies i use to destress myself:
---spend an hour or son at the gym doing aerobic exercises and strength training
---listen to my favorite singers
---do alot of rocking in my rocking chair
---read a book
---play games on the computer
---do deep breathing exercises
---take the dog for a long walk
---visit a sibling or friend
---HAVE SEX
---once or twice a month-----go for a full body massage
---get away for a weekend to my favorite spot in the mts.
---during christmas, winter, spring, and summer vacations (from school/principal of an elementary school), fly down to orlando to spend time in our 2nd home in a gates community just outside of kissimmee.
stress is a silent killer. make sure you take the time to care for your needs, wants, and desires. that helps al the time.
