Hi everyone,

I am a Muslim Lebanese.

I met my boyfriend in the US during my studies. I came back to my home country giving up a good life there. We have a long distance relationship now. He comes and visits me once in every month and he wants to marry me.

He is from a small town in Kentucky. I met his whole family and his parents. I am the first foreigner person they met!! His whole family is very conservative Christians. They support the war and are completely ignorant to world issues and see muslim countries as "places to refine"

His father keeps sending me emails and tells me that he has a thousand questions that I should answer before he can bless this "union". His mother masters how to make people feel uncomfortable, she is single, very judgemental, suspicious, and unsociable. She also expects too much from her son.They are coming to Lebanon in February to meet my family?!?! How shall I deal with them?

Now, he wants to go to Amsterdam and elope ??!! Please help.

Ever since I can remember I have had a series of small red bumps over my upper arms. Within the last five years they have been spreading to my lower arms, lower back, and butt cheeks. They do not hurt or itch or bother me in the least except for the fact that they are ugly. They get a little better in the summer with sun exposure but never go away.

Does anyone have an idea what they are or how I might get rid of them? I have tried acne body wash, body scrubs, and several different face wash products.

I am buying the Sims 2 holiday edition for Christmas and I've been waiting until the prices dropped to get an expansion pack. I am torn between University and Nightlife. I really, really wanted University when it first came out, however I'm not sure it adds that much to the game. I'm American and she is from Peru, she came here three years ago

She loves me and I love her,, so you would think that we would at least stay together for a whie but here is the problem

her family which are all illegal immigrants are ignorant towards Americans,, not all but some like her sister in law

this is her best friend, but she will tell my girlfriend bad things about me and the problems with stupid gringos, If I ask my girlfriend to come out with me,,she will have to tell the women, and she will always say,,,what with that stupid,,boring gringo

she and a few others are really trying to manipulate her into breaking up with me,,,,,Im tall and good looking,, so maybey it is becuase they are jealous I don't know,,but they have a lot of influence over her,,and it really bothers me

I brought it uo once to my girlfriend and she said that these are her best frinds and she takes what they say seriously

I can hear music but I can't hear any sound "effects." Even when I play games... I can hear any background music the game plays but I can't hear any effects, like guns firing, beeps, etc... Everything worked fine until today. How do I fix this? I have a Dell Inspiron E1505. I don't know anything about media cards or anything. I use Windows XP. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated!
