Yeah, all the time. I once went to a church service at a huge black church where blacks, whites, and Amish were all in one place, worshiping. It was pretty cool.

its based on the church, in the ones I have been in, yes. They are very welcoming, but some are not. Most of us have gotten past Black VS. White. But there are some who still don't want to take a stand, and draw a line in the sand...so to speak. But I guess it would depend on the church, if it is not a church that welcomes you, more than likely it is not based on God, because God welcomes everyone, red or yellow, BLACK AND WHITE...they are precious in his sight.
God bless you, and merry Christmas

I've been welcomed at "black" churches. Though I have to say that I don't like to call one church a "white" church and one a "black" church. Churches should be differentiated by the different religions they practice, not by the color of the skin of the people who attend.

my first exposure to religion and God was sitting on the steps of an all black church. the music and movements of the people inside was life changing. I felt a great cloud of love and holiness covering the building. I was a small child and too fearful of going in or letting anyone know I was there. I thought they would eat a small white child who was being nosy. The picture and feelings of that day has never left my mind.

Yes!! I went to one in Compton when I was a kid and they were wonderful group of believers. Now I do much study in Rastafari teachings as well as Ethiopian Tewahedo Orthodox Church. However I would not base belief in Color of skin related understanding. Many of the people and the most important ones in the bible were African origin. Not only that but as an Anthropologist we are all African with variations by adaption to the environmont.

yes they are. all are welcome in the house of the lord. if they turn their noses down at you and make you feel unwelcomed then that isnt a God based church and its not a church where you want to be.

In most churches, YES. although many times it doesn't work the other way around (and I'm not saying this because I'm racist), which I don't understand.
