This yr at last my younger sis is gonna cook Xmas dinner for 11 of us, and I know it'll be just like a normal Sunday Roast. as we're not into traditional Xmas celebrations, our dinners have always been very basic (no special effort in table decorations at our parents' house, or in general surroundings, nothing matching etc. Trouble is, I want to contribute to the preparation/cooking of it, in hope that i'll get to eat the remainder of the trimmings that should be served with it..but have been told I can't (no-one apparantly wants to eat them except for me and my boyfriend!) as I would upset and distract her that I've been threatened with getting a Frozen BIrd's Eye Roast Dinner!!
All I want is HOME-MADE: Yorkshires, Bread sauce, Stuffing, Bacon-Wrapped Sausages, Swede n' Carrot Mash, and Braised Red Cabbage..which i'm willing to make in advance to bring on the day, prepared on the tray, and ready to oven/or micowave.. her versiam i being unreasonable and too greedy for my own good?
