what i mean by describe it is tell me what order they do things in and what the neddle will look like and if it will hurt really bad........and please keep it updated so that i will know what they do now and not 2 yrs ago. but any advice or help is welcome! thanks!

It hurts, but only for a minute. When I had mine done, he pierced it with a long needle - popped the needle in, removed it and put in the nose stud. It will be a bit sore for a few days after.
One other thing to consider is when and if you decide to take it out, it can leave a little hole in your nose. I took mine out a few years after I had it done, and I was fine but I have some friends who years after removing it still have a pretty obvious piercing mark.

I had mine done and I have NOOO pain tolerance at all. It was not that bad. A little pinch when the needle goes in, and then it only hurt when I went in the pool...I think the chlorine on it made it sting! I loved having my nose pierced, then about 3 months after that, i got a really bad cold and sinus infection and the tissue kept getting stuck on the piercing so I took it out to blow my nose and couldnt get it back in. the place I work at doesnt allow facial piercings, so I cant have it redone...but I LOVED it. Go for it..it is worth the 3 seconds of pain!

Ok It Doesnt Hurt REALLY bad .. It Brings Water To your eyes but not bad.
Okay They Take These Clamps And Tell You To Breath In And Take A Deep breath And They Just Do It.No Problem

Well got my nose pierced when I was 15 and I am 36 know and still have it. It is going to hurt a little bit but not as bad as when you get your tongue pierced. The advice that I can give you is to bring a stuffed animal.

I'm not sure what they do in the shops but i pierced my friends nose with a needle and she said it was only sore after the first couple of days

Yes it is going to hurt, how much depends on your pain tolerance. I liken nose piercing to having a pimple on the inside of your nose. If you've ever had one then you know about how much its gonna hurt.

It hurt worse then I thought it would, but still wasn't that bad. I mean its not the best feeling in the world, but you won't be rolling around on the floor in agony.

my mom had hers done when she was really little but back then
they had to use a sewing needle and lemons

nope. it doesn't hurt. but like my husband said it depends on your pain level. it just felt like a small prick to me, nothing more. the guy used an ear gun, you know the same ones they use in your ears. now if you want to talk tongue that's a whole new ball game.
