On the way to work, I walked past a brick lying in the middle of the road. I kicked it to the side, so that nobody would damage their car on it. I had no other reason for doing it than thinking how I would feel if I hit that brick with my car. I have compassion for my fellow citizens and help strangers. But I do not believe in God. these aren't mutually exclusive.

Today I am handing out care packages to the elderly and the low income families in the area. These packages have been compiled by donations gathered from local businesses and schools and church groups. They contain food, clothing, shoes, items that the person may find useful, and gift cards worth $50 for food items only (yes, there are actually cards that allow you to only buy groceries).

Well my mom and step dad is going through a hard time. They needed a roof put on but would not let us do that. So yesterday there TV tore up and we bought them one to help ease one burden. They didnt want us to but I told them it was a Christmas gift, so they had to take it. Maybe this coming year I can get them a roof on.

Probably let someone merge into traffic.

I don't carry cash, so I can't give away money...and I don't plan on going anywhere else with my baby.

Does it count if we help out family members who need it? If we can count that then I do it all year 'round.
