Trains today can be one or two miles long with a "pusher" motor at he rear. Does constant radio communication have to be maintained for the train to operate?
How do they operate if they are in areas where radio communication is nearly impossible or not at all? Does the whole train go "dead" if you lose contact?

For example, I want to be a pilot. Now if I take chemistry, when the hell am I going to use that? Or history? Math's important, but why should I learn something I'm never going to use in the future?

I just don't see any point... maybe you could give me the reason why? (don't say 'because that's what college's require')

What has the world come to when a woman with a job has no kids and tries to dates some one with simualer morals and ideals. All i want to know is why is it harder and harder to find the person ment for you, that fits your life and has the same kinda goal in life. Ok...well im catching up with this guy that i used to see (we live 1&1/2 hrs drive away from each other so we have never 'fully been together'...but were seeing each other for awhile after we met)

Anyway, I havent seen him for a year...(he's contacted me a few times durning the year though and has started emailing me lately.) I got an email from him last week saying he will be in my town for xmas and asked me to go out to lunch or something to catch up. So of course i said yes...(i still really like the guy & wish we could be together, i just dont know if he feels the same way tho so im just playing it casual atm) We arranged for him to call me when he gets here next week & arrange lunch then. (so i havent spoken to him since)

Should i just leave it now and wait for him to call me when he gets here like we arranged?? OR should i contact him beforehand just to chat b4 he gets here (i just dont want to make things awkward and mess things up but i also dont want him to forget...

I've found in research that condoms are 98-99% effective at preventing pregnancy. I think that's pretty good, but I wonder about that 1-2%. Has anyone here ever gotten pregnant even though they were using condoms consistently?

I am 16 and my teeth are really bad. My mom doesn't work because there are 5 of us kids and my dad is a minister who works at a ministry that doesn't provide health insurance. I always thought God and Jesus were two different being's. A group of us got on the subject of God and Jesus and some were saying God and Jesus, are the same being, which confuses me because in the movie, "Passion of the Christ, when Jesus was nailed to the cross, he yelled out, "Father why have you forsaken me", if they are the same being, why would he yell out to himself? Please help me to have a better understanding of this, I always pray to God, in Jesus's. Thank you.
