I always like when first dates end with a little 3rd input. I hate it when it ends up that it's not actually a giant clitoris but rather a tiny penis.

When I go out with someone the first time I like a guy who puts effort into his appearance, opens doors, takes me to a nice restaraunt and is respectful of others. If the guy shows up dressed like I am just another activity or he has been cleaning the garage, or wears shorts, that is a turn off. I don't like cheap guys, and not into guys who treat waiters or others rudely.

First off, there's no such thing as first date etiquette, it's all about reading the person and what your are personally comfortable with.

Best first date ever was a few years ago, a friend of mine, Laura, who I was interested in her, just broke up with her boyfriend after he cheated on her, so I asked her if she wanted to go out with me the following week. She agreed, so I planned things out, and told her I'd be picking her up early. She wanted to know what we were doing, but I kept that to myself. I picked her up around 4:30, went out for dinner at Earl's and finished up by around 6. Then hopped into my car and drove down to Calgary (about an hour and a half drive) and took her to a LifeHouse concert. I knew she really liked the band, and my father has a company box for the Saddledome, so I arranged to get the key and tickets from him the week before. We went to the concert, had a great time, standing at the edge of the balcony while "Standing in a moment" played with my arms around her. After the concert, we went out for coffee, talked for about 2 hours and then I drove her back home. Night ended with a goodnight kiss, which might not sound too special, but I'd had a crush on this girl for years, so it was great for me.

Worst first date was about 6 weeks ago, I agreed to go out with this girl for drinks and a couple games of pool. We went out, and she literally wasn't interested in anything that I was, except for pool. The conversation went stale within about 45 minutes, and then things got extremely boring. Meanwhile, I had to listen while she would drone on and on, barely letting up to let me get the obligatory "uh-huh, yep, real interesting" in there. Finally she got drunk and decided it would be a great idea to skip the date portion and jump straight ahead to the make out session, right in the middle of the pool hall, and when I pushed her away, she said "What are you married or something?" when I said no, I wasn't, she got offended and left. Found out from my buddy a few hours later that while I was single, she WAS married, and that her hubby was overseas. Wonderful.

That's my best and worse.

Cheers.

My first date was cliche, the regular dinner and a movie, but it wasnt until the guy behind us came back with a big gulp soda and drenched my date, she was pissed because she got all beautified for this movie and there she was covered in mountain dew. so we left the theatre and i was generous and offered my house as a place where she could clean herself up and borrow some of my sweats etc. but i didnt know i was in for something different... haha did u want more?
