Better for what? Do some research on the differences and decide which is better for your needs. If you change you mind it's a small matter to move your money from one to the other. You can buy a savings bond at the bank. Some differences, you can buy savings bonds with as little as $25. You pay no taxes on the interest until you cash them in. With a CD you usually need at least $500. You can pick out how long you want to keep the money on deposit and the interest is taxable. There's more. Do the research and decide for yourself.
Much luck to you!
