I am confused as to the Air Force potential. I want to be an engineer and apparently in the Air Force you need to be an officer. In the navy you just become an engineer according to your ASVAB. Is this true that you can't be an Engineer in the Air Force without a 4-year?

Hello, I blew out my DVD burner power adaptor by plugging it into the wrong hardware. It is an imation 8x single-layer only external burner, if it matters. I cannot afford a new one right now, is there any way to replace the adaptor only instead of buying a totally new unit? I took it to a large electronics store but they couldn't do anything about it.

I'm tired of this guy giving me mixed signals. He acts like he really likes me one minute, then the next he gets cold. We talk a lot, but never outside of the coffee place we work at or off of msn messenger. I've tried to get him to spend time with me in person in a non-coffee-brewing situation, but I was turned down twice because he had 'plans'. I'm pretty sure those plans were to spend all day alone playing video games.

I don't want him to think I'm a *****, especially since we work together and it'd be awkward, but I'm seriously thinking of just not talking to him anymore except when I have to. I don't intend to be rude...if he talks to me first I'll be as polite as can be, but I'm not going to start conversations anymore unless it's about who cleaned out the machines last night, y'know? lol

He gives off all the signs he likes me short of asking me out, but he wont spend time with me in person, except of course the days he's suddenly cold to me.

My sis & I use to be real close. She's married to my husbands best friend. We did vacations, played cards, and spent all holidays together. She's been married 20 years.7 years ago she told me she was seeing someone. 20 years older then her. I told her to dump the guy. He's never gonna leave his wife. She wanted me to keep this secret from my husband. I actually got stomach problems. I did'nt like lying to my husband. I broke down one day and confided everything to my husband. He was devestated like me.We distance ourselves from both of them. One night sis's husband stopped in and wanted to know what was going on with my sister. We told him. He went home and confronted sis. She told him we were liars and he believed her. They cut us and my parents out of their lives. My sis continued her affair. 7 years no contact. Last week her lover dumped her. She is devestated. Do I stay out of it since it has been 7 years? Do I call her and try to talk to her?

I've watched the night shows religously for many years. Everything was normal then it's like all of a sudden this guy is just on the Jay Leno show with his stupid cup of coffee and they introduce him at the beginning of every show. This has been going on for at least a year or two and I still have no idea why he's on the show. He participates in skits sometimes now but other than that what is it that he does to be on the show??

This girl, weve been to heaps of movies, heaps of lunches, and the occasional dinner and coffee after work as well.....she likes to touch me alot, and we always use to laugh.....recently shes been acting quite wierd.She wont wnt to reply to my txt;s, but when i see her sometimes shes happy, sometimes shes not etc.....i dont know whats going on, but she always doesnt ask me to go lunch with her anymore aswell and that kind of stuff???.......is she losing interest in me?....did i make her wait too long or something?
