It shouldn't stink bad. Smell a little yes, but not nose curling stink.

That its white is a good sign and is a good sign that its not an infection.

However if it stinks, there could be something else wrong. If you use tampons, next month try not using tampons and see if it helps. You could be allergic to something in the tampons.

You should probably see a doctor about it and have it checked out for safety. There are several diseases that can cause discharges from the vagina to smell bad. Conditions such as: Food Allergies, Celiac, Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, Thyroid imbalances, horomone imbalances, PCOS, etc.

These are things you'll want to have checked out now, rather than wait til more serious symptoms rear their ugly heads.

I've had that and actually I still have it.I'm extrememly clean. After I first had a yeast infection I got freaked out and just started becoming more than a neat freak.I buy brand new underwears in the beginning of each month.Wash them everyday - 1st with my hands and then in the washer with no one elses clothes in there.Change 3 times a day.Morning after a shower.Afternoon when I see discharge on my undies and before going to bed and then at the end of the month I throw them all out. There is something really wrong with me though because I'm having "down there" problems non stop.I'll be fine for a day or two and then back to what is now normal for me-yeast infections,BV and all the other things that can go wrong.Anyway-don't do anything on your own.Go to a GYN.RIght away..It's probably nothing big but still just go to a gyn.

Yeast infections don't smell but bacteria vaginosis usually has a foul fishy smell. BV is more common than a yeast infection. Yeast infections itch with no smell and BV can have a white discharge with the fish smell. There are several web pages on BV. Your doctor can make the diagnosis quickly and prescribed Flagyl.

If your sexually active it could be a variety of STDs, but if you aren't sexually active (or haven't been for several months) it's most likely a common yeast infection.

Have you recently been taking antibiotics? There's naturally occuring bacteria in the vagina that usually feeds off the yeast and keeps them in check, but taking antibiotics can kill of these types of bacteria and without them the yeast grows out of control which leads to infection.

If it is a yeast infection you can minimize the chances they reoccur by avoiding pantyhose and tight underwear. These tend to trap moisture in the crotch which is what allows the yeast to thrive.

You could try a treatment kit from your local pharmacy, but you should visit your doctor first to be sure its an actual yeast infection instead of something worse.

Ummmm, I know a certain amount of discharge is normal, but yours sounds like a lot.....maybe yeast infection? There are some women that get them every month around that time due to the change of hormones etc.? Also, not to be gross, but maybe you should try either no tampons, change brand, use ones with no fragerance, ya know?

That's gross as hell. You may have an infection or something. I'm not a female but that's definitly not normal and you should see a doctor. Check out this web site, may give you an idea what it is. Look at the 3d female model to the right and click the area your having trouble with. Good luck.

It's ovulation. Okay, you're ovulating after your period, it's a clear to white dishcharge. It's ovulation fluid, very normal and for some girls it's heavier than others so some notice it and some dont. If it changes colors to yellow then get checked for infection.

Anytime something is discharging from your body and it smells there's some kind of infection. Go to the doc and get some antibiotics.
