You only have to read the Help Wanted Ads to realize how short of trained medical personnel we are. All levels of the profession are needed - partly due to our increased longevity through medicine. Sounds like job security to me.

Do you like helping people in pain, and I mean all people, with ugly illnesses, wild diseases, and all aspects of humanity. Medicine pays well, but you put up with a lot. Choose it as something you would like to do.
