I asked a new girl at work out to coffee. Havent spoke to her much as she's in a different department. She said she would get back to me, she didnt, and a day later I left for another city. I was there for 4 weeks and I sent her email from there. No reply. I have taken the hint.

Two ques:

1. How should I react when I see her in the office? Should I just put my head down and keep walking?
2. I bought a house and will be having the house warming ceremony next week. Should I invite her?

It seems like all the guys who I date are such jerks. They're downright mean. Why is it so difficult to find a decent, christian man. I honestly don't think I want to date again. Such bad luck. Any of you other ladies have problems finding a decent man who doesn't lie, cheat or treat you badly? I wonder if I'm just a jerk magnet. I would like to know I'm not alone here!

My baby started crawling a couple days before she turned 5 months old. She is almost 6 months now and she crawls super fast all over the house and pulls herself up on things to stand up. My mom says that she is doing these things at a very young age.
Is this true?? Does that mean that she is be smarter than average??

Now that the American people have the proof that our own President killed thousand americans what are we the families of those innocent victims going to do about it? If we keep putting people like Bush in office we got nobody to blame but ourselves. come on people what is it going to take to make us stop pretending it isnt happening. dont you think it is time for a change?

I've been to their website, asked this question, and could not find an answer. I heard it was true for any network but not sure. I want to find out before I get a phone for my wife on Cingular service too.

Am just starting a new relationship with a guy I spent the last 3 years with at school. Nothing ever sparked in that time but now that we've graduated we decided to give it a go...except we can't get past the awkwardness of knowing each other as school friends and such. We each had a really deep relationship with other people this year and because of that we are both finding it hard to trust the opposite sex. What do we do from here? Is it worth testing the relationship or should it end now? When I'm not with him I feel like it'll work but when I'm with him I feel different. Thoughts please...

My 93 Tercel has a seized up engine, and I don't know if my best option is donation (it doesn't run), scrap, or classifieds.

I'm especially interested in hearing from someone who has bought or sold a car in similar condition.

Thanks!

can someone debate me here.

i think that the story of s&g is severly damaging to the credibilty of the bible because it would seem unjust to for god to kill two cities of people because of that particular sin.

it seems that one way to argue against that is to try to highlight that it was not just that one sin they had committed as a whole, but others sin in combination, and so forth.

to which I say that the bible just too clearly presents homosexuality as the most dire sin in the story. I'm not sure, but i think that the bible described it as (paraphrasing) "homosexuality and other wickedness"
it presents it as the thing these people did that was most unpleasing to god.

I think it is a stretch to rationalize that it was the other sins that made god actions morally just.

what do y'all think?

How do you like my helmet?? When I tell people I like bagels, they just generally walk away. When I run towards them for a hug, they usually run, but that's always after I wet myself. So what do you think of my helmet? Yes...

There is no Coast Guard uniform shop were I'm at. My Combo Covers looks like a cowboy's hat. It is also uneven. I don't want to buy another because there in good shape. The Navy uniform shop won't do covers.

Assuming the president is staying within his constitutional rights: giving pardons to Republicans convicted with crimes, getting goverment jobs to his Republican buddies, etc.

I got him recently because I had to get a good build up of stuff in a tank for other things. I was thinking a goldfish would suit my need perfectly and I always wanted a Ryukin. I went to Petsmart and was checking them all out when i noticed this one guy was swimming around all funny. now I know they all swim like they're having seizures but he would go upside down and freak out and such. so after a closer look I found he had something weird going on with his tail. it's like it's folding over itself, just a small bend, like someone is holding a pencil under it. the lady at the pet store said he was just holding it funny and they all swam like that (they we're all clearly NOT freaking out the way he was) and tried to push his tail back, when it didn't go she repeated herself and trailed off. so of course I had to get him. I've had him for well over a week and he's perfectly happy and loves people. I was just wondering if this is common with Ryukins? I'll try to get a pic and link it

I'm not saying my wife does this but if she did refuse, would it be a good reason to divorce?

I've always thought my 8 month old son was developing quite well and as most mom's, thought he was somewhat advanced for his age, but now I wonder if he could have some form of autism. He spends a good deal of time waving his hands and/or swiveling his wrists and is always feeling surfaces or textures by flexing his fingers continually. If there is a tag on a toy, he is more interested in the tag than the toy. I always thought this was cute, but now I wonder if it is an early sign of autism. He usually responds to his name, but there are times when I will call repeatedly and he will not answer--this happens more for me to test him than to actually need to call him. He has been babbling for at least 3 months and he particlularly likes to say "da da da de da" repeatedly. Otherwise, he interacts well with people, especially his cousins who are close to his own age. Am I grapsing at straws as an over-paranoid mother or do I have valid concerns?

I plan on getting my master's in mathematics, and I was wondering how much money I can expect to earn at a community college as a math professor. (Either in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, or Georgia.)

I've heard it said this is one reason for its eternal existence. An eternal reminder of the awfulness of sin to all future heavenly inhabitants, of what sin, rebellion, and rejection of God causes.
