I plan on getting my master's in mathematics, and I was wondering how much money I can expect to earn at a community college as a math professor. (Either in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, or Georgia.)
I couldn't find much info online

really not that much maybe around the 40000 mark. For one thing cc aint university and city ran so they don't get the big bucks. your better off teaching at the university level instead of the community level if you want a smaller environment.

It took me a lengthy time period to get used to the theory that my dream college wasnt in attain at present. In my head I had a plan of the position i became going to bypass yet by no skill seen an decision. i'm an honors and AP student and that i also idea cc's were for the "dumb" toddlers or the flunkies. even with the undeniable fact that it isnt, i'm relieved! lol better of luck to even with occurs! :) only remember you've an finished life only before you, and also you need to fulfill tremendous human beings everywhere that can make your college adventure all that you want it to be!

Most CC profs earn about 70-80 a year full time. This is of course different for each college and each state, but that is the average.

I don't know but if you end up being a prof., please TEACH the class! I have this teacher this semester that is smart but he doesn't teach us a frickin thing, just makes people come up to the board and do problems..now I feel like I'll fail finals. What a waste of money...
