It all depends on what kind of cereal and oatmeal I mean quaker oats can be better for you than lets say trix (my fav) but not as good as whole wheat organic no sugar cereal. I guess its just what you pick but check labels compare sugars, sodium and all that good stuff. Hope I could help

Depends on which kind of oatmeal or cereal. If you get a whole grain nutritious cereal it will help you loose weight, but if you are eating a sugary cearel you might as well eat oatmeal.

Depends what cereal you're talking about.
Oatmeal is whole, cereal ... a lot of the time has A LOT of sugar in it. Sugar turns into fat if it is not burnt off.
Oatmeal on the other hand, you can eat a smaller amount of it and get fuller more quickly, and it probably won't have as much sugar in it as most cereals do.

Try to consume plenty of healthful calorie-dense meals. Whole grains (pasta, bread, oats), complete-fats dairy (above all usual yogurt), beans (and bean dips like hummus), nuts/nut butters (with out an excessive amount of sugar), seeds, fruit juice, healthful oils (olive oil), darkish chocolate, avocados/guacamole, and so forth are all healthful. If you are going to have a youngster, you'll be able to want plenty of healthful fat for your nutrition. If you've gotten a blender, take a look at mixing milk or yogurt with great oats, peanut butter, a banana and chocolate or whey powder.. plenty of energy, and consuming energy fills you up much less. Do a bit of force coaching, despite the fact that it is simply frame weight sports like push americaand planks, so you place one of the weight on as muscle. If you depend energy, consuming at a surplus of 500 energy/day will have to support you obtain a million pound/week.

oat bran is the best....it's help to maintain and probably lower your bad cholesterol but to lose weight or gain weight will depends on how you eat it....if you add in a lot of sugar, milk and other stuff, you will gain more weight...if you eat it plain and simple, you will have a healthy but boring meal...
