My 93 Tercel has a seized up engine, and I don't know if my best option is donation (it doesn't run), scrap, or classifieds.

I'm especially interested in hearing from someone who has bought or sold a car in similar condition.

Thanks!

well you could crap it in it would give you extra cash for christmas. if you haul it to a scrap yard the will gove you so much for it depending on what it weighs i had a 89 olds the motor was messed up in it but i got 200.00 for it. or you could advertise it as for sale for parts if its in good shape body wise. and alot of the motor parts someone could use also like the water pump, altanator, radiator things like that oh and not to mention if its got good rims and tires on it. but its usually kind of hard to find someone that wants a parts car. but you would probly get more money out of it than just scrapping it. but i have never donated a car before but i know of ppl that have bought donated cars before they are auctioned off most of the time so im not sure.

Must have died an unnatural death - run out of water perhaps? The idea of a donation is great, - if you can afford that, get them karma points! However, they may not want it not running.

Best way however to get some cash for it is to list it on your best available online auction site, accurately describe it, and start with a $1 reserve. Alternatively, list it in your local trader newspaper as a "swap". It will get something, someone will have a damaged body with a good motor somewhere, they will want it!

restoration it, you could restoration your credits score by using alternative ability. The ABS easy might pass off while the brakes are fixed. those issues are prevalent placed on, shield the failings first to get it to pass inspection. Then artwork on the different issues over the years.
