I identify myself as a TS woman. My family thinks I am gay and are pretty open to me dating men. They have no idea that I have been taking steps to change my body. I am visiting them in a couple of months and I cannot pass as male at all. I know it is time that I tell them the truth, just not sure how to go about it. Any suggestions? Is not the relationship of marriage has some principles of giving up something to take something and accepting the life partner with all his/her plus and minus points? Why don't people understand that accepting the partner would reduce seperations? Is the main reason, lack of understanding between the couple or the lack of adjustments / compromises?

I have a tooth problem and feel i was prescribed meds and mis-advised to have teeth replaced -to make my symptoms worse to make me, in turn, pay more for excessive treatment.

i am a U.K. Citizen and have already emailed my embassy about this, I have heard such action can be commonplace and am asking for advice before this saturday-when i have to visit the same dentist-with my boss(at the english academy i JUST started working at here)

I was advised to have 2 teeth out and replaced - expensively over £500, as opposed to the other option of 'surgery' with a 20%chance of more problems-nerves/neurons etc..

Any advice for who to contact on my behalf- i don't want money, just the proper treatment.

Again i have to go there this Saturday so please respond asap.

Now, the majority of immigrants do not assimilate because it is politically correct to encourage ethnic and cultural diversity. Since it is encouraged to retain your cultual background, we see people with multinational pride, and conflicting intrests and contempt for the United States. Over generations, do you think that cultural pride will finally take a back seat to national pride, and that assimilation will naturally follow, and we will coexist harmoniously? Or do you think that cultural pride will overcome national pride and bite us all in the end, and our own unwillingness to cooperate will divide us as a whole? OR, do you think cultural pride and national pride can coexist without conflict, we learn to tolerate, learn from each other, and stop squabbling over the errs of long past?
