does this mean 'love one another' in swahili?

It looks like Swahili, but sometimes different languages share a phrase with different meanings depending on the language.

-pendi, with the "i" ending often reflects the negative. However, in this case you're missing too much of the phrase.

"Tunapendana" is "we like/love each other." "Kupendana" is close to "to like/love each other." "Watu wanopendana" is "they[people who] like/love one another."

Hope that helps.

"Tu" in Swahili means alone, solely, exclusively.

"Pendi" or "penda" is the stem word meaning love, like or want.
I've noticed that Swahili speakers find it hard to distinguish between "like" and "love" when speaking English.
