I had this book in the early 1970's but it could have been an older book. It was about children that visited a playground and rode on a horse made of metal I think (could have been wood) and then it disappeared, but a real horse appeared in the field, suggesting that the horse had come to life. It was one of those really simple stories, but so appealing to young children. It was a book short enough to read at bedtimes and would love to find it so I can read it to my daughter. I remember lovely illustrations, but unfortunately not the title or author? Any ideas or suggestions of what the book might be, pls contact. Many thanks.

i think he did it. its common sense. all of that evidence cannot be ignored. who else would've killed them? oj had a motive, and he had a history of violence and abuse. he was just rich, so he got off.

When my dear Mother was alive she told me that drinking (Raw eggs??) and sherry builds you up.
Several years later I forgot this but was talking to a relation today who said the same.
Is this true or an old wives tale?
If it is true then how does it build you up physically or does it build up the immune system?

and do comets travel at greater speeds than our current space ships can? if so, wouldn't it be a good idea to land a manned or unmanned ship on a comet and whip around the comets path collecting photo's and data along the way? haleys comet wont return until about 2061 i believe, and by that time we should have vastly upgraded ships, but i still think that it sounds like a good project either for haleys, and any of the other comets that come thru. what do u think?
