O.K. heres the deal, the alternator is charging, sometimes. The vehicle belongs to a friend from church and I have volunteered to fix the problem. The information they are giving me is this, On long distance drives, the battery light will come on, after a period of constant drive time when the vehicle is at normal running temp, the lights will dim, and once in a while the vehicle will completly shut down. At that time they just restart it and continue their journey. The battery voltage is at 12.97 volts, and when running it is at 14.95 to 15.00 volts. For any of you that has replaced an alternator on one of these gems, it does'nt look like it is going to be a whole lot of fun. I'm going to take a little spin down the road and see if I can verify what they tell me is happening and then when the problem starts I'll recheck the output and see what I can determine at that point. Any other ideas will be helpful. THANKS

ok, I get the story, kinda (or at least I think I kinda get it)...but my husband and I walked out of the theater like..."HUH, WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN THERE?!?!" lol! If somebody can explain the reason for the 3 scenarios throughout the movie, i would really like your input. what's up with him being in that bubble, eating the tree, but then when he drank from the other tree later, he turned into some grass and flowers?!?!

Im thinking of getting a dog, either shih tzu, yorkie or bichon frise. does anybody own any of these dogs and would they be able to tell me anything about their temprements. i work 8-4 weekdays but have holidays off, would these breeds be ok during the day if someone came and checked on them?
p.s. i cant rescue a dog as i work full time.

My mom is a Jehovah's Witness. I have practiced the religion too. About four years ago I got reinstated after being disfellowshipped for six years. Now almost a year ago I quit attending the services and associating with the congregation. I haven't done anything to get disfellowshipped again but I just don't want to be that religion anymore. I don't think it's for me. I have free will. My problem is my two little boys are going to be 4 and 3 and I really want to attend the birthday party their dad is having for them but I don't want to disappoint or hurt my mom's feelings. She brought me up as JW so I know what she believes and what she expects me to believe. But I haven't been doing anything with that religion for almost a year. I want to celebrate all the holidays with my husband and the boys. How can I get over hurting my mom? Should I be happy or should my mom. I don't want my relationship with my mom to go to pot again. I've been there before and it was horrible.

In Pakistan, as far as rape was concerned, a man could only be prosecuted if the female was able to provide atleast four male eyewitnesses. Otherwise, she may be punished for adultery or fornication. The president just signed a law changing this. The four witness rule will only be used in some cases and sex outside of marriage is no longer punishable by death. It only carries a maximum fine of $160 or a maximum jail time of five years. The religious conservatives there are protesting the law. I dated this guy for two years and at the beginning of the relationship he did all kind of different things, the relationship was full of drama in and out for at least 4 months straight. we seperated for awhile,then got back together and he was a changed person there was no more flirting with other gurls, talking to other females or nothing its was perfect. Then he got involved with this situation and for like 3 months i dindn't matter. so i began to talk to an old childhood friend of mine, we went on a date and he found out about got mad and things havent been the same since. He tired to work out things at first but I refused and now that im willing to and he says he is to(but hes really not) im upset about the situation. If i forgave him on all the things he did why cant he forgive me? I am divorced and live with my parents. I find it hard to open up with my parents though.

My mom is busy with her own life and she favors my brother and his family whom she is going to visit next week. My dad is busy with his work and other hobbies.

I sometimes feel left out and alone even though I am living with them. I can not share my problems and issues with them.

I am worried about my child. She lives with her Dad in another state. She is 14 and needs help with projects and tests in school. I wish that I could be there for her, but I have to keep reminding myself that my ex-husband has custody and I do not.

I have a job that I do not like. I am trying to look around for another job, but it is taking time.

I am confused about my Christmas plans. My child wants me to visit her and help her with a project. I was thinking of going to Las Vegas.

I am so confused but don't know who to turn to.
