It was shown on CNN Headline news 1 Dec 06, and it is an X-Ray machine that can actually show your body in detail beneath your clothes. This link is an article that is from May 2005, from the Maryland Gazette.net by David Grand. It describes in detail the humiliation one may experience by going through the x-ray device which "will show what's under a person's clothes (including underwear), the images of which paint a revealing picture of a person's nude body" (Grand, 2005).

What are your thoughts on this, do you feel more protected? I feel so very violated personally...i am curious who else feels this way or otherwise.

As I have found out through checking investment banks' websites, all (as far as I know) are unwilling to take anyone with less than an undergraduate for work experience, due to the damnding nature of the job. I'm only 16, having taken a GCSE in Graphic Products (acheiving an A*) and will hopefully obtain another 9 more A*s. However, I have little to show at the moment other then an impressive CV - does anyone have any ideas?

I have alway struggled with my weigth, I been made fun of (by my family) all my life. Mind you I was 200lbs and I'm 5'3. Now I'm 113lbs and know im too skinny, anyways now my niece is going through it. She 11 years old and she has alittle weight on her. my 2 sisters and her mother make fun of her. I jump to her defends all the time. It hurts her so much and me 2,so bad.I HATE IT. I tell them to stop and how it makes her feel and how i use to feel. But I'm not there all the time, sadly, to protect her.they call her names,laught in her face and puts her down.She comes crying to me because she knows i understand her pain. How can I make my sisters understand that they are going to make her sick and they are hurting her. Help please she just a little girl. It hurt me more then it hurts her to see her in pain.

I believe there is an unseen cosmic force that governs the laws of nature, the universe, time, and probability. Some call this force God, but I don't think that term applies to my definition. Unlike the traditional view of most God figures, nothing it does to us is done for our own sake. Everything that happens, good and bad, happens in the larger context of simply making the world go 'round. I don't believe this force is aware of us, or anything else for that matter. It doesn't reward, it doesn't punish, it doesn't judge at all. It just is. In short, I believe in a higher power, but not a God. What does that mean?

I am starting to date a girl who is extremely sweet and we have nothing but fun times together.

But recently I found out that she gets upset when I try to expand my social circles.

The reason I expand (and maintain) my social circles is because I believe that there is a healthy balance between time together and time with friends. I am not a closed couple kind of person. I like to do things with my friends and I like to be invited to their events and hopefully as a couple I can invite others to our activities.

But she is so insecure or jealous that when we go dancing (Salsa dancing), she gets upset if I even think about asking another lady to dance OR if another lady asks me to dance. I do not NEED to dance with anyone else but I do have friends and acquaintances in the Salsa dancing circle that I would like to dance with. Realistically I would only dance say 10% of the time with someone else and give her the rest.

Is she jealous or insecure or is she just too loyal?

I believe in freedom. I believe in slashing government programs, saving the taxpayers billions. I also believe in a competive based economy. Why do people have to relay on the government? also I couldn't care less what one does in their personal life. The government should not get involved in that either
