It was shown on CNN Headline news 1 Dec 06, and it is an X-Ray machine that can actually show your body in detail beneath your clothes. This link is an article that is from May 2005, from the Maryland Gazette.net by David Grand. It describes in detail the humiliation one may experience by going through the x-ray device which "will show what's under a person's clothes (including underwear), the images of which paint a revealing picture of a person's nude body" (Grand, 2005).

What are your thoughts on this, do you feel more protected? I feel so very violated personally...i am curious who else feels this way or otherwise.

I am sorry, Cnn Headline News said it was going to be tested in an airport in Arizona and another airport in a different state. I cant believe I couldnt find the news story but it was long enough to have some guy from the ACLU on the show speaking against it (American Civil Liberties Union).

Resist the TRYANNY.

Do not forget this government is OF THE PEOPLE. For the People.

They work for us. Don't be abused by the ruling class.

And to the point, yes the notion is outragous and should not be put up with under any circumstances.

personally, this doesn't bother me. I mean, its an x-ray, not a color 3D image of your body. I think we've all seen x-rays before and i dont personally find anything "sexy" about them. It's not as big of a deal as people make it seem and you probably wont even think about it as you walk past it. I mean, i've had to remove my hat, belt, and shoes when i went through previous machines. also, the hand metal detector isnt exactly fun either, but its all in the name of safety. a full x-ray machine will reduce the need for taking off shoes/belts and have less people being patted down manually, which will make things quicker and safer. I mean, come on...its an x-ray picture! give me a break people.

Hmmmm..... that is a tough one.....

Seeing your underwear and the liquid bomb making materials that guy behind you has as well...

---or---

Not seeing your underwear and the guy gets on board we all go down in flames ...

I'll take "seeing your underwear" any day of the week
