I believe there is an unseen cosmic force that governs the laws of nature, the universe, time, and probability. Some call this force God, but I don't think that term applies to my definition. Unlike the traditional view of most God figures, nothing it does to us is done for our own sake. Everything that happens, good and bad, happens in the larger context of simply making the world go 'round. I don't believe this force is aware of us, or anything else for that matter. It doesn't reward, it doesn't punish, it doesn't judge at all. It just is. In short, I believe in a higher power, but not a God. What does that mean?

You sound to me like you should be classified as "agnostic."
Which means, according to http://dictionary.reference.com :
"a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience."
I think that basically means that you think there is a higher power, but no one really knows what it is, or anything about it. Not participating in Christianity doesn't make you an athiest, especially if you do acknowledge the possibility of some higher power. There are many other religions out there to choose from, but if you're not comfortable claiming any one practice, I think it is safe to say that you're agnostic.

Now iam going to ask u same questions if u answer it honestly andthe result u'll see.

1: The first creation of the space was done due to some explosions or by god?
2: The life exists inly on planet earth in our solar system coz the earth has perfect conditions required or coz god has done it so?
3: When ever u help some one u get twice with wat u helped is it because of sheer luck or because of an all seeing eye?

take this example u are going on a empty road and the window of a diamond store has been broken and u can see the diamonds and u can take them out easily.wat would u do if u are alone and if ur not alone ie there is a police man who will punish u if u do anything wrong. God is the police man who is invincible.so the concept of god has been created by our forefathers to create fear of god in our minds so that we will no do any crimes.

Sure agree with you, and who knows if God is a man or woman?
All my life I have believed God had given me power to heal and answer prayers, but see now things just happen, sometimes for good or bad. Feel you are on the right track but don't think you are an atheist in my view. I believe in a higher power also, but don't consider my self and Atheist.

Well,Sir in my opinion you have what everyone else on this planet has...common sense.Everyone with a litlle intelligence at least feels that same force that nags at them to search out the answers.True we know very very little, the things we claim to know are from years and years of doing it things the wrong way first before we find one that actually works. And this does not makes us know it alls in my book.
I went through that phase as a teenager, I sure as hell did not see God's presence anywhere. So I turned to witchcraft...seemed logical to me.(Huge Mistake)Well I got what I wanted when I wanted it but not how I wanted it.Then one stormy night I was concidering what would become of me if I were to be struck by lightening and killed.I figugured out there was definately a dark side with that there could also be a light side. Then I got to thinking maybe it was all true and it was only my feeble knowledge that hindered me from seeing any furthur. And if there was any possiblility of a Heaven and a hell if I were to be killed I might have had maybe 10-20 good yrs. of satasfiying my thirst for revenge on a few people that I would be spending eternity with.It got me to thinking.Thank-God!
Now after using a little intelligence I found I was able to read my Bible. For the first few years it didn't mean anything to me but I keep reading and seeking ways to be able to make sense out of all that jibberish. Then I ran across this guy who was an ex-biker out of california that went through all I was going through and coached me on how to relax and focus on the Lord God and get in my highest spiritual level possible and ask the Holy Spirit to help me too understand. And What a mind-blowing difference! Now I can read something and it isn't like reading a newspaper anylonger,it actually makes 100% Logical sense.Praise Jesus.
Now I realize for myself that there is a God a very very Loving and all Power God.satan has been stripped of power and all he has is each individuals power that God Gives each one of us if we let him.But satan himself has absolutely nothing.Like back in the Garden of Eden so is it today except he cannot steal all the power at once like he did with Adam and Eve...Because Jesus is hanginging on to it for us for safe keeping that's still our power we can use it but we can't be trusted to hold on to it.
But all the little bit of power satan steals he can't hold on to because he has been stripped of power. But the end is nearing and he is working harder than ever to yet fill his torture chamber he has all eternity might as well not feel like the only retard.Take Care and Sorry I got carried away with the spirit for a sort while.May God Bless You

You wouldn't be considered an atheist. To an atheist, this world, the here and the now, is all that there is. There is not force, god, etc out there.

I would say that you have some conception of spirituality, but that you do not fit into any strict category.

Think about this. What is actually happening when you think a thought? The more you think about that, the deeper your understanding of reality becomes.
