Why is it, every time I find a guy who I think is everything I've ever wanted, he ends up having some sort of psychological problem - whether it be neediness (to the extreme), wussiness (as in doesn't have any testosterone), cluelessness (can't read body language) or nyphomania (with other women)...... (Is there any guy out there reading this who doesn't have any of the above???) Please send resume.

I mean, this is using the same logic as, "if you support it, then why don't you fight in it." right?

Its sort of like, if you think there is a world population problem, then you should go and kill yourself, right?

I cannot escape the chios in my life. Born in 1969 middle child of 3 girls, born to an alcholic father and mentally ill teenaged mother. My childhood to say the least was full of abuse, all types. My family tree consists of immigrants from Germany and supporters of the KKK. My grandmoter killed herself by drinking Lye soap and my other grandmother was a prostitute. Family chios creeps into my life with no escape. I have always known I was different from them, but I still can't escape the guilt and there seem to be no avenues for someone like me. My father passed away a year ago at 60, the kemo killed him. I am currently trying to take care of my narcacistic mentally warped mother. I do have four beautiful kids and a hot hubby, but when grandma tries to kill me and claims to be the devil, well it gets pretty heated. NOONE seems to beable to help, I really try to laugh so I don't cry. My question, is it possible that I am just one of the people born into misery forever?

I have a three way lamp, and have a 3 way bulb in it. Is it safe to replace that bulb with those compact flourescent bulbs that save electricity, but, obviously don't have the three way function.

The cats were using the litter boxes in the one spare bedroom for 2-3 years, then after the basement was finished, I moved the box to behind the basement, in front of the heater and they kept peeing & pooping in the one finished & carpeted corner of the basement. We now yanked the carpet & refinished the basement, again, with vinyl flooring and they still pooped & maybe peed on it. How do I keep them from doing that, or on carpeted floors upstairs in the bedroom? Second question, how do I prevent the cats from peeing in between the liner & the box?

My husband and I have finally decided to start trying to concieve, which I am very exited about. But I have a fear that is taking over all my exitement and that is what if we can't... I dread the next months suspence as I wait to see whether or not I will get my next period or not. I know that sometimes it will take a couple months, I am afraid because I had gotten pregnant 2 years ago on accident and miscarried, I'm worried of it happening again or worse not being able to get pregnant. How can I overcome this fear?
