I got stood up Thanksgiving evening...I was supposed to get a swedish massage at my home from someone who i considered a friend. But he said he fell asleep at like 6 in the evening and when he called me the next day at 5 p.m. he said he was just getting up! He's vegetarian so I know he wasn't tired from eating damn turkey! So when he called me the next day to tell me this absurd story, he wanted to come over that night to do my massage. But I felt really awkward & rejected so I lied & told him I had plans for the evening & couldn't but that I would call him later. Should I just be honest & tell him I don't feel comfortable around him anymore? I feel like if i try to hang out with him again he'll stand me up again.

Hello! We are a newly engaged couple. This is our first new year's together. I want it to be special. We both agreed to spend it together alone. My fiance doesn't want us to go to some club or ball. look they lost to an oregon state and michigan lost to the #1 team in the nation, i would much rather lose to the #1 team in the nation than an unranked team im not a fan of usc or michigan but its common sense so what about strength of schedule! look who usc lost to!

I want to get in touch with an old friend that I haven't spoken to in two and a half years. We were pretty close friends at some point, but she said something so awful about me and I very quietly cut her off. im sure ants can think, i'm sure worms and think, what about amebas or those other single cell organisms. protozoa or whatever, and paramecium. don't they need to think to find food? so what about the cells in our bodies? they have to decide what to do don't they? they have to know what to let into the cell and what to let out. how does your skin know that it has to heal? I sure as heck don't tell it to. it does it by itself. so am i built up of millions of tiny thinkers? In high school biology i was taught that the nucleus of a cell is the "brain" of the cell, or control center. how can it do this job without a mind?
