I got stood up Thanksgiving evening...I was supposed to get a swedish massage at my home from someone who i considered a friend. But he said he fell asleep at like 6 in the evening and when he called me the next day at 5 p.m. he said he was just getting up! He's vegetarian so I know he wasn't tired from eating damn turkey! So when he called me the next day to tell me this absurd story, he wanted to come over that night to do my massage. But I felt really awkward & rejected so I lied & told him I had plans for the evening & couldn't but that I would call him later. Should I just be honest & tell him I don't feel comfortable around him anymore? I feel like if i try to hang out with him again he'll stand me up again.

Be honest with him. tell him everything. u know ,he might be saying the truth.i dont think he feels hurt in any way.if u dont tell him the truth u ll still be on the receiving side of the friendship ( i.e u get the emotional hazard of hurt and pain)

Follow your 1st mind; you shouldn't have to feel "awkward nor rejected." Something similar happened to me & although I forgave him; I told him I wanted to be with someone who is "true" to their word; I made him feel bad without cursing him out. Whenever something doesen't "feel" right, it usually isn't. Be true to yourself & honest with him; MOVE ON!! He's defininetly not a keeper...Tricks are for kids.

WHY WOULD YOU EVEN BOTHER TALKING TO HIM ANYMORE ANYWAY?

HE HAS CONTROL ISSUES. HE WANTS YOU ON HIS TERMS. THIS IS ALL ABOUT HIM.

TAKE YOUR CONTROL BACK. FIND SOMEONE WHO IS READY TO BE A PARTNER.

RAISE YOUR STANDARDS IN MEN.
